How you like to travel
These answers shape every trip the planner builds for you. Each setting shows how it is used: a hard constraint is never violated, a preference shapes ranking, and a human handoff brings a person into the loop.
Getting around
Hard constraintFilters vehicles and boarding points to ramp/level-boarding only; sets path width and surface requirements
Hard constraintHard cap on every walking/rolling segment; routes that exceed it are rejected, not ranked lower
I need curb ramps at crossingsHard constraintPedestrian edges without verified curb ramps are removed from the network
Transfers and pacing
Most transfers I’m comfortable withHard constraintHard limit in the routing search; itineraries stop expanding past this round
Hard constraintMinimum connection time added to every transfer; missed-connection risk is recomputed live

What the planner sees
With these settings, routes must be fully step-free with curb ramps at every crossing, no rolling segment over 400 ft, at most 1 transfer with 6 minutesto connect — and when no fixed route fits, a paratransit segment is booked instead of stretching your limits.
